Andrea Scozzari is Full Professor in Mathematical Methods of Economics, Finance and Actuarial Sciences at the Faculty of Economics of Niccolò Cusano University in Rome, where he currently teaches Mathematical Finance and Networks and Decisions theory. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Sapienza University of Rome. His main research areas include mathematical programming and network optimization with application to portfolio selection, asset allocation, biproportional allocation, political districting and networks facility location problems.

Gabriele Serafini. Associate Professor in History of Economic Thought and Professor of Economic and Financial Statistics at the University Niccolò Cusano, he is Director of CESDE (Centre for the Analysis of Economic Dynamics) and Scientific Head of the Dynamic and Behavioural Economics Area. He is Professor in History of Economics at Xenophon College London, UK, and has been Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, Senior Lecturer at NCI University in London (UK) and Senior Lecturer in the “Markets Area” of LUISS Business School. He has been consultant to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (Italian Government) and is consultant to leading companies and bodies of national importance in the fields of Accounting and Taxation, Auditing and Risk Management. He is registered in the register of Scientific Experts of the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) in the Sections of Basic Research, Economic and Financial Evaluation and Administrative and Accounting Auditing. He is Director and member of editorial and scientific committees of international journals. He is author of monographs and scientific articles published with leading national and international publishers on risk and financial investment theories, entrepreneurship and theories of value.
